Commercial properties on both sides of the border were sold under the hammer yesterday for a combined total of more than $2 million.
The highest price of $1.335 million was achieved for a South Albury industrial building on the corner Panmure and Macauley streets.
Businessman Russell Delaney bought the property which has five sheds on short-term leases generating a net annual income of around $85,000.
Also selling at auction was a two-storey property in High Street opposite Mann Central shopping centre and near Junction Place.
It sold for $915,000 to a Wodonga investor with the upstairs section occupied by McHargs Solicitors and Zumii Shoes downstairs.
L.J. Colquhoun Dixon conducted the two auctions.
“Once again they were two strong sales,” agent Andrew Dixon said.
